Step into the Magical World of
Palila: The Orion Warrior

A veiled realm within the Earth. A legacy written in silence. A girl destined to awaken it all.

Welcome to the official home of Palila

The Orion Warrior — a young adult fantasy novel where imagination and reality intertwine, and the fate of two worlds lies in the hands of one extraordinary girl.

When Palila touches the water near her favorite ancient tree and sees her reflection shimmer into something otherworldly, she doesn’t just uncover a secret — she awakens a legacy. Journey with her between Earth and the Gogic Myst, a glass-globe realm pulsing with ancient life, mystery, and magic. But destiny doesn’t wait. And Palila must choose who she becomes… before both worlds fall silent.

“So much happens there… and here, it’s like time just waits for me to return.” — Palila

Palila: The Orion Warrior

Palila has always felt... different. At school, she tries to fit in, to be like everyone else — but something keeps pulling her away. A whisper she can’t explain. A feeling she doesn’t quite belong here.

Sometimes, she drifts — in the middle of class, while walking home, or deep into the forest behind her cottage. These moments feel like echoes from another place, another version of herself she’s not supposed to remember. Not yet.

But the pull is growing stronger. The veil between worlds is thinning. And when she touches the water, everything changes.

Guided by a yellow flower, a secretive ladybug, and a grumpy hummingbird, Palila steps into the Gogic Myst — a mystical world hidden beneath the Earth, glowing with coral mountains, talking trees, and skies laced with galaxies.

There, she must uncover the truth of who she really is, why she was born with this gift, and what she must become to protect both realms from a rising darkness that threatens to consume them all.

I wrote Palila: The Orion Warrior for every young person who’s ever felt a little different, a little out of place — and wondered if maybe that’s exactly how they were meant to be.

Palila is a girl who often slips into another world. Sometimes while walking through school. Sometimes while sitting in class. Other times while wandering the quiet forest behind her cottage. She hears something calling — not always with words, but with a knowing. A pull.

This story is about that calling.

There’s magic in the forest — in the way the trees breathe, in the stillness of a path only you can find.

It’s about believing in yourself, even when no one else seems to understand you. It’s about discovering your true potential — and realizing that being like everyone else was never the goal.

Through Palila’s journey, I hope readers feel inspired to look within — to explore who they are instead of who they’re told to be. Step outside. Walk beneath the trees. Breathe in the mystery of the world around you. There’s so much to discover when you stop comparing... and start becoming.
